Mollie’s Coddles Terms and Conditions: Skincare Workshops

The term ‘you’ refers to the customer or user of this website. The term ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to Mollie’s Coddles. The term ‘workshop refers to any course, event, session or workshop run by Mollie’s Coddles

In booking onto this workshop you are deemed to agree to Mollie’s Coddles terms and conditions, which are laid out below:

  1. Booking: your booking on this workshop will be secured on receipt and processing of full payment- prior to receipt of full payment, no contract is established between you and Mollie’s Coddles.
  2. Cancellation of bookings: If you unable to attend the workshop, please inform us in writing via email or letter - email is preferred. The following conditions apply:
    1. In the case of cancellation 14 or more days prior to the workshop you will be given a refund minus a £20 administration charge. Refunds will be made via BACS payment on receipt of relevant bank details, or by cheque.
    2. In the case of cancellation less than 14 days prior to the workshop, we regret that we cannot offer a refund, although you may like to transfer your place to a friend. It’s your responsibility to find this replacement customer and inform us prior to the event. In the case of such a transfer, we cannot guarantee to amend scheduled workshop recipes to take account of special customer needs (allergies, medical conditions, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding) on the part of the replacement customer unless transfer is made more than 14 days prior to the workshop and full details regarding the new customer are provided.
    3. In the case of cancellation, please note that Mollie’s Coddles cannot refund any other expenses you may have incurred such as travel or overnight stay costs, should you book and then subsequently cancel a workshop provided by Mollie’s Coddles. You may wish to take out insurance in case you have to cancel through illness or unforeseen circumstances.
  3. Cancellation of the workshop: Mollie’s Coddles reserves the right to cancel a workshop for whatever reason, which may be owing to tutor-availability or other reasons that are beyond our control. In this case, we refund your entire workshop fee. We will try to inform you of such a cancellation at least one week prior to the workshop, although we cannot guarantee this if an exceptional circumstance arose. We ask for a contact number and email address from you at time of booking, and will make every endeavour to contact you via this number by text or call, or by email, if required. It is your responsibility to check your email/ text/ ansafone messages prior to and on the day of the course, to this end. Mollie’s Coddles can accept no further liability for cancellation of its provision other than refunding your payment.
  4. Alterations to the workshop: Mollie’s Coddles reserves the right to make alterations to the workshop as required. This may include the content, the tutor, the date, the venue, or other.
  5. Under 18s: must be accompanied by an adult who will take full responsibility for them during the course or workshop.
  6. Your participation: Making natural skincare products requires some precision and care so we do ask that all participants agree to abide by the directions of the course or workshop tutors, to follow instructions carefully and to behave respectfully and responsibly towards the tutors and other participants, as well as towards themselves. Mollie’s Coddles reserves the right to remove a participant from the course or workshop without refund if that person behaves in a manner that is unsafe or disrespectful towards other participants.
  7. Damage to property: Mollie’s Coddles asks that you bring an apron to protect clothing, and gloves if you so desire. You understand that at all times your personal property is your own responsibility. Mollie’s Coddles does not accept any liability for loss of or damage to personal property.
  8. Copyright: all materials shared with participants during the course are copyright to Mollie’s Coddles or the School of Natural Skincare or both, unless otherwise stated and are provided for personal use only. They may not be shared, coped or distributed without our permission.
  9. Allergies, pregnancy or medical conditions: We request that you fill in the booking information form accurately. It is your responsibility to provide Mollie’s Coddles with information about any allergies, medical conditions, or pregnancy/ breastfeeding so that we can advise you about ingredients and essential oils that are safe for you to use. It is your responsibility to seek relevant professional medical advice prior to the course if you are in doubt as to its suitability for you.
  10. Safety: all participants are deemed to take responsibility for their own safety throughout the course or workshop, and to have understood the following points:
    1. You are competent to use heating equipment such as a hotplate
    2. You are competent to use electrical equipment such as high speed whisks and milk frothers
  11. Photography: we may take photographs during the workshop which may be used on our website or publicity material. If you would prefer not to be included in such photographs please ensure you let us know by completing the appropriate section on the booking form.

Mollie’s Coddles has undertaken all reasonable care in researching, sourcing, writing, and presenting our information, activities and exercises during the workshops, but no responsibility is accepted for any inaccuracies or mistakes in the above mentioned information, or loss or damage that may result from its use. Mollie’s Coddles does not accept responsibility for any accidents or misuse of training carried out by customers/participants whilst on the workshop or when used afterwards once they are at home/at work/in a public place/area. Customers/participants carry out training with Mollie’s Coddles at their own risk. By booking a course or workshop with Mollie’s Coddles, customers/ participants agree to take full personal responsibility for any accident/injury that may be sustained whilst attending the workshop, waiving any liability whatsoever from Mollie’s Coddles and indemnifying Mollie’s Coddles against all losses that may result from and legal action that may follow any accident or injury sustained whilst attending a session, event, course or workshop. Acceptance of the training by the customer/participant indicates acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
